Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has decided to take disciplinary action against members who act against or criticise the party's policies.
The decision was made at a recent executive committee meeting, according to the Chief Opposition Whip, Member of Parliament Gayantha Karunatilaka.
Karunatilaka said that any issues within the party must be discussed internally at forums such as the parliamentary group meeting, the executive committee, or the management committee.
He stated that members who make public statements criticising the party will be seen as violating party discipline and will face disciplinary measures.
