Sri Lanka, May 23 -- 16 Officers-in-Charge (OICs) of the Sri Lanka Police have been transferred with immediate effect.

The transfers were made following approval from the National Police Commission, the Police Media Division announced.

The transfers include 12 Chief Inspectors and 4 Inspectors.
