Sri Lanka, March 4 -- The prevailing showery condition over the island is expected to reduce from today (04).

Showers or thundershowers may occur in a few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts in the evening or night.

A few showers may also occur in Eastern coastal areas during the morning.

The public is advised to take necessary precautions against localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
