Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- A shooting incident was reported this morning (30) in the Maha Induruwa area of the Kosgoda Police Division.

According to police, two individuals on a motorcycle attempted to shoot a person both outside and inside a house. However, the firearm failed to discharge, preventing any loss of life or property.

A pistol-type firearm, suspected to have been used in the attempt, was found near the house. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and Kosgoda Police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects.
