Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- The girlfriend of the shooter arrested in connection with the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder has been released after giving her statement. However, the other person arrested with her will remain in custody for further questioning.

The duo was apprehended in the Maharagama area recently. Meanwhile, the Colombo Crimes Division informed the court today that three other suspects linked to the case are being detained under police orders for further interrogation.
