Sri Lanka, April 17 -- Online retail giants Shein and Temu have announced plans to increase their product prices.

The China-based retailers are making the move following the imposition of substantial tariffs by President Donald Trump on goods imported from China.

According to foreign media reports, these price adjustments are expected to take effect from next week.

Shein and Temu have gained global popularity due to their extremely low prices, attracting numerous customers, including many in Sri Lanka, who purchase goods through their applications.
