Srilanka, Feb. 15 -- Thundershowers accompanied with severe lightning are likely to occur at some places in in Kaluthara, Galle, Matara and Rathnapura districts after 1 pm today (15), according to the Meteorology Department.

There may be temporary localised strong winds during thundershowers.

General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimise damages caused by lightning activity.
