Sri Lanka, June 8 -- Medical health officers from the Colombo Municipal Council conducted an inspection of night street food outlets operating along the stretch between Bambalapitiya to Wellawatte of the Colombo Plan Road, known as Marine Drive, on Friday (6).

The inspections focused on these popular night street food outlets, which typically operate daily from 7 p.m. to midnight.

During the inspections, which were also joined by the Public Health inspectors, the cleanliness of meat freezers was inspected, and several instances where food was prepared without adherence to proper hygiene protocols were noticed.
