Sri Lanka, June 26 -- Thirty-two senior police officers, including nine Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) and sixteen Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), have been transferred following the approval of the National Police Commission.

The Police Media Division stated that these transfers and appointments are effective immediately.
