Sri Lanka, May 3 -- The Sri Lanka Air Force has confirmed the security of SriLankan Airlines flight UL 122, which arrived from Chennai and underwent a special search operation at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).

This operation was initiated following information received from India suggesting that suspects linked to the Pahalgam terror attack might be on board.

The flight carried 226 passengers and 6 crew members.

Following the thorough search, the Sri Lanka Air Force has assured that the aircraft is secure.
