Sri Lanka, May 5 -- A 16-year-old schoolgirl was reported to have tragically fallen to her death from a seventh-floor apartment in Kotahena on the 29th of April.

The girl's parents held a press conference yesterday (4), stating that their daughter's unfortunate demise was linked to her inquiries about an incident that had occurred at her school during a tutoring class.

The girl resided in an apartment complex situated on Galpottha Street in Kotahena.

She fell from the 7th floor of the building onto the adjacent road.
