Sri Lanka, Jan. 26 -- Academic activities at Anuruddha Kumara Primary School in Navalapitiya resume after a nearly two-month closure due to landslide risks.
The National Building Research Institute (NBRI) issued the recommendation to reopen the premises following a comprehensive safety assessment.
Authorities initially closed the school as a precautionary measure when a protective wall on the property showed signs of collapse.
Experts from the NBRI conducted an on-site inspection of the school grounds and confirmed that the environment is now safe for students and staff to return.
