Sri Lanka, Jan. 15 -- Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, has issued a series of safety instructions for Sri Lankans working and residing in Israel amidst rising regional tensions.
The Ambassador advised all citizens to seek refuge in secure shelters within or near their residences immediately if an emergency arises.
The embassy addressed concerns regarding potential communication disruptions, stating that relatives in Sri Lanka should not panic if electricity or internet services become temporarily unavailable.
Such outages are possible during heightened security situations, and the embassy is monitoring the welfare of the community.
