Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- Russia has carried out its most extensive drone assault on Ukraine since launching its full-scale invasion on February 24 2022. According to Ukrainian authorities, drones were intercepted over at least 13 regions, including Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Odesa. "Record" 267 Russian drones were launched in a single, coordinated attack, said Ukraine's Air Force Command spokesman Yuriy Ignat.
Ignat said that approximately 138 drones were shot down, while 119 others were jammed and rendered ineffective.
