Sri Lanka, July 17 -- There's been a noticeable increase in tinea, a common fungal skin infection, compared to the last decade, according to Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Janaka Akarawita.
Speaking at a press conference at the Health Promotion Bureau, Dr. Akarawita stated that one in every five patients attending dermatology clinics seeks treatment for tinea.
