Sri Lanka, May 30 -- A new book chronicling Sri Lanka's brutal war, which spanned over three decades, was launched yesterday (29) at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute in Colombo.
Titled "Separatist Terrorism in Sri Lanka 1975-2009" the publication is authored by former Army Commander General Daya Ratnayake.
The book provides a detailed account of the conflict period, drawing from the author's personal experiences and extensive military background.
Speaking at the launch event, General Ratnayake stated that the book aims to offer an informed perspective on the long-standing conflict and its profound impact on the country.
