Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, has instructed relevant officials to expedite the necessary restoration work on the 130-year-old Nalinda Jayatissa Post Office building, to maintain its postal functions and develop it as a major attraction for foreign tourists.
A special discussion on the progress of the project to develop the historic Nuwara Eliya Post Office building as a tourist attraction, including the building's renovation, was recently held at the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, chaired by Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
