Sri Lanka, May 17 -- Remembrance Day, presided over by Deputy Minister of Defence Aruna Jayasekera, is scheduled to be held on Monday afternoon (19) at the War Heroes' Memorial located at the Parliamentary Grounds in Battaramulla.

The annual event honours the war heroes who made immense sacrifices, and those who went missing in action for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
