Srilanka, May 21 -- 10,613 places where mosquitoes can breed have been identified in 15 districts in the past two days alone.

According to a statement issued by the National Dengue Control Unit, these areas were identified in districts including Colombo and Ratnapura through programs implemented in conjunction with the Special Mosquito Control Week.

Meanwhile, speaking at a media briefing in Colombo today, Community Specialist at the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Prashila Samaraweera stated that 1,407 red notices have already been issued in this regard.
