Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- Popular rapper Madhawa Prasad, also known as 'Madhuwa', has been arrested again by Kahathuduwa police, this time with a haul of explosives.

He was previously arrested with a fake pistol a few days ago.

Police seized three gelignite sticks, five detonators, and 3.5 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from the suspect.

According to the police, the explosives were found buried behind a house in Pitiyana, Galhena, where the rapper also resides.

This arrest follows a tip-off received by Sub-Inspector Rajitha Gurusinghe of the Kahathuduwa Police Criminal Investigation Division.

The suspect was questioned, which led to the discovery of the explosives.
