Sri Lanka, Feb. 11 -- The former President and leader of the United National Party, Ranil Wickremesinghe, visited the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya, Colombo, this morning. Mr Wickremesinghe joined devotees to pay his respects to the sacred Sarvagna relics currently enshrined at the temple.

The holy relics were brought to Sri Lanka from the historic Devnimori site in Gujarat, India. The visit highlights the ongoing religious significance of the exposition, which has drawn numerous visitors to the prominent Colombo landmark.
