Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- The Colombo High Court has postponed the case against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and five of his family members until October 1.

They are facing charges of illegally acquiring assets.

The former Minister, his wife Kusum Priyadarshani Epawayhena, his three daughters Chamithri Jayanika Rambukwella, Chandula Ramali Rambukwella, and Amali Nayanika Rambukwella, and his son-in-law Isuru Pulasthi Bandara Polgasdeniya are accused of committing an offence under the Sri Lanka Penal Code.

The charges relate to the period between 13 August 2020 and 24 June 2024, during which Rambukwella served as Minister of Mass Media and Health.
