Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Attorney-at-Law Rajeev Amarasuriya secured re-election as the President of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) for the 2026-2027 term.

Joining him in the leadership, Nalin Chandika de Silva was elected as the Secretary of the association.

The newly elected officials will formally assume their duties for the upcoming period during the 52nd Annual Convocation of the BASL.

This event is scheduled to take place on March 28.
