Sri Lanka, May 31 -- The Department of Meteorology's latest forecast indicates that rain or thundershowers will occur intermittently in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.

The department anticipates moderately heavy rainfall, exceeding 75mm, in some areas of the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, along with the Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Galle, and Matara districts.
