Sri Lanka, March 6 -- The public has been requested to submit any information related to former IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon directly to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), according to the Police Media Spokesperson.

The announcement was made, urging anyone with relevant details to assist the ongoing investigations.

Police Media Spokesperson Buddhika Manatunga stated that former IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon has not left the country and is currently evading arrest.

Speaking at a special media briefing today, he confirmed that police are actively searching locations where Tennakoon may be hiding. Authorities are reviewing phone records and other leads to track him down.
