Sri Lanka, June 4 -- The Public Health Inspectors' Association has urged attention to the quality of water used in 'dansalas' organised for Poson Poya.

Chairman Upul Rohana stated that due to the adverse weather conditions experienced in recent days, many water sources in various areas have become contaminated.

He emphasised the importance of ensuring that water used for preparing food and beverages at dansalas is safe for consumption to prevent health issues.
