Srilanka, May 22 -- The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) says that the public consultation process for the second electricity tariff revision of the year will begin tomorrow (23) starting from the Sabaragamuwa Province.

Consultation in the Uva and Northern Provinces will commence on the May 27.

Southern Province consultation will be on May 28, while the consultations for Eastern and North-Central will be held on May 29.

The process will be carried out in all provinces until June 3.

Although it has proposed to increase electricity tariffs, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) recently stated that tariffs would still be less than they were before.
