Sri Lanka, Jan. 13 -- A continuous satyagraha organised by the 'Adults for Children' organisation outside the Ministry of Education in Isurupaya, Pelawatta, received support from Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thero today.

The protest entered its second day this Tuesday (13). The Thero demanded the immediate withdrawal of the proposed education reforms upon his arrival. He emphasised that the government must scrap the plan as it mandates smartphone use for every child, which he claims will only exacerbate existing issues within the system.
