Sri Lanka, June 3 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board has appointed the Secretary to the Ministry of Energy, Professor. K.T.M. Udayanga Hemapala as its new Chairman.

This was confirmed in a letter to the Colombo Stock Exchange, and comes following the resignation of Chairman, Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya.
