Sri Lanka, July 28 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake departed Sri Lanka this morning (28) for a three-day official visit to the Maldives.

The visit, which will conclude on July 30, is being undertaken at the invitation of Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu.

During his visit, President Dissanayake is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Muizzu and witness the exchange of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between the two countries, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
