Sri Lanka, Feb. 4 -- All citizens must join hands in brotherhood to create a "Rich Country - Beautiful Life," President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka stated in his 78th Independence Day message.

He expressed firm confidence that the era envisioned by Sri Lankans can certainly be realised.

The country is moving forward with economic stability achieved amidst numerous challenges at this historic juncture, according to the President.

Significant economic progress resulted from the collective struggle of all Sri Lankans within a short span of one and a half years.
