Sri Lanka, Feb. 28 -- Gampaha District MP Prasad Siriwardena has been appointed as the media spokesperson for Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.

He received the official appointment letter at the Opposition Leader's office in Parliament yesterday (27), with Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara also present.

Siriwardena, who entered Parliament for the first time in the last general election representing the SJB, also serves as the Chief Organizer for the Mirigama constituency and is a member of the SJB Executive Committee.
