Sri Lanka, April 27 -- Four police officers, including an Assistant Superintendent of Police of the Criminal Investigation Department, have been appointed to assist the three-member Investigative Committee appointed by the Parliament pertaining to the removal of Inspector General of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon.

The appointments were made by the Acting Inspector General of Police.
