Sri Lanka, Sept. 1 -- Police are seeking the assistance of the public to apprehend two suspects wanted in connection with a murder and a large-scale fraud case.

Police are seeking to arrest a suspect wanted in connection with the murder of a woman, who was killed by having her throat slit with a sharp object on 18 April in the Dolahena Watta area of Mathugama.

The suspect, 41-year-old Brahmanage Don Sanath Ravindra Nilanthana, is a resident of No. 78/1, Ihala Kanda, Agalawatta, in the Mathugama Police Division, and has now fled the area.

His national ID number is 840321401V.
