Sri Lanka, May 2 -- Police have recorded statements from five university students in connection with the alleged suicide of a second-year student from the Faculty of Technology at Sabaragamuwa University.
This follows a complaint lodged with the Samanalawewa Police by a group of students from the same university.
Police have stated that 16 university students, including the primary suspect against whom allegations have been made, have been instructed to appear before the police today.
The deceased student, 23-year-old Charith Dilshan, reportedly died by suicide on the night of April 29.
