Sri Lanka, Oct. 25 -- Police have opened fire on a van that failed to comply with an order to stop.

Police stated that the incident took place at the Golumadama Junction in Ratmalana.

The Police Media Spokesperson confirmed that no one was harmed in the firing, but the driver of the van has been arrested.
