Sri Lanka, March 24 -- Two Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs) and two Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) have been transferred and assigned new appointments, the National Police Commission announced.

The transfers, approved by the Election Commission, are effective immediately.
