Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Police have launched a search operation in the Colombo Fort area for a person suspected to be involved in the murder of Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman, Lasantha Wickramasekara.

The search was initiated based on a tip-off received by the police that a man matching the description-wearing a black T-shirt and having shaved off his beard-was frequenting the Colombo Fort area.

In connection with the same murder, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested three suspects, including a woman, earlier today (26).
