Sri Lanka, July 19 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who is also the Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, stated today (19) that a key goal of the new education reforms is to limit classroom sizes to 25-30 students.

Speaking at a programme in the Dakshina Paya Auditorium in Galle, aimed at briefing Southern Province education authorities on the new reforms, the Prime Minister emphasised that providing quality education is not possible in classrooms with 50 or 60 children.
