Sri Lanka, Aug. 27 -- The Sri Lanka College of Nutrition Physicians (SLCNP) has raised serious concerns regarding a potential move by the Ministry of Health to eliminate key positions within its Food Control Administration Unit.
According to the SLCNP, this decision would severely undermine the country's public health protection measures.
Sources from the Association of Medical Specialists (AMS) claim that the Deputy Director General of Environmental and Occupational Health is attempting to abolish the previously approved posts of Consultant Nutrition Physicians.
