Sri Lanka, March 3 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Distributors Association handed over a memorandum to the President's Secretary this morning, addressing the ongoing crisis in fuel distribution.

Vice President of the association, Kusum Sadanayake, stated that the memorandum informs the President about the decision to abolish the three percent discount previously given on fuel sales at filling stations. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation recently decided to remove this discount under the existing distribution agreement with fuel distributors.
