Sri Lanka, Feb. 18 -- The management of Mannar General Hospital has reported that a pediatrician working at the facility has been missing for several days. The doctor has failed to report for work, and his phone has been disconnected, according to hospital sources.

Other doctors at the hospital have found evidence suggesting that the pediatrician left his position without informing the management. Although he has not officially notified the hospital, it has been revealed that the doctor sent a text message to a friend confirming his departure.
