Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- A ceremony to award official badges to three officers and 34 sailors who completed the 29th qualifying course of the Navy's Rapid Action Boat Squadron (RABS) was held on the 6th of this month at the main parade ground of the RABS Headquarters in Gangewadiya, Puttalam.

The ceremony was held with dignity under the patronage of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, following an invitation from Captain Sudesh Chinthaka, Commanding Officer of the RABS, and Rear Admiral Varuna Ferdinandus, Commander of the North Western Naval Command.
