Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Ministry of Defence Consultative Committee met today (17), in Parliament, chaired by the Minister of Defence and President, Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to a statement from Parliament, the meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Defence Major General (Retired) Aruna Jayasekara, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha, the tri-force Commanders and other officials representing the Ministry of Defence.
During the session, Members of Parliament brought various issues pertaining to the Ministry of Defence to the Committee's attention.
