Sri Lanka, July 22 -- The Parliament is set to convene today(22) under the chairmanship of Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramarathne.

From 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Parliament will hold the Second Reading debate on several key pieces of legislation: the Workers' Budget Relief Allowance Amendment Bill, the Workers' Budget Relief Allowance (No. 2) Amendment Bill, and the National Minimum Wage of Workers Amendment Bill.

Following these debates, an adjournment debate, proposed by the opposition, is scheduled to take place from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
