Sri Lanka, Dec. 17 -- Secretary General of Parliament Kushani Rohanadeera announced that Parliament, which was summoned to meet tomorrow (18) under the provisions of Standing Order 16 at the request of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, is scheduled to meet on the following day (19) as well.

These legislative activities were decided during the Committee on Parliamentary Business meeting held today (17), presided over by Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

Parliament will convene at 9:30 AM tomorrow. A supplementary estimate of Rs. 500 billion for the year 2026, aimed at restoring the lives of those affected by the emergency disaster, will be presented and subsequently referred to the Committee on Public Finance (COPF).
