Sri Lanka, July 11 -- The Parliament has announced that the Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of four Ministry Secretaries.

These approvals were granted during the committee meeting held on the 9th of July, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The approved appointments are:

Professor K.T.M. Udayanga Hemapala as Secretary to the Ministry of Power.

K.M.G.S.N. Kaluwewa as Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education.

S.M. Piyatissa as Secretary to the Ministry of Labour.

K.D.R. Olga as Secretary to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.
