India, Nov. 8 -- A total of 32,815 foreign tourists arrived in Sri Lanka during the first five days of November, according to the Tourism Promotion Bureau.

The largest number of arrivals during this period came from India, totalling 7,830 tourists.

In addition to India, tourists also arrived from several other countries, including Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

With these recent arrivals, the cumulative number of tourists visiting Sri Lanka this year has now reached 1,923,502.
