Sri Lanka, May 14 -- Over 100 vehicles, including motorcycles, have been taken into police custody in the past two days after their owners violated traffic laws.

Four high-capacity motorcycles and fifteen motorcycles with loud, modified silencers were taken into custody.

Four people between the ages of 21 to 23 have been arrested in connection with these incidents.

Additionally, over seventy motorcycles and cars whose owners violated traffic laws and were driven under the influence were taken into police custody in the Athurugiriya and Mt. Lavinia police divisions.
