Sri Lanka, May 29 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has stated that the government's decision to halt the admission of local students to the Kotelawala Medical Faculty is a serious error.

Issuing a special statement, the Opposition Leader claimed that this decision deprives Sri Lankan students of educational opportunities in the medical field.

Meanwhile, Bandula Lal Bandariyagoda, who had resigned from his position as the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) organiser for the Galle electorate, has agreed to resume his duties after meeting with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
